There are so many kinds of paints, brushes, paper, and mediums at the art store. Whether you're ready to invest or looking for an affordable kit to get started, I will walk you through the most important supplies to get and which to avoid.

PREPARING TO PAINT
Sometimes our first (and biggest) hurdle is how to get going on our painting. I'll teach you how to set up and prepare your workstation, painting surface, and paints.
As a passionate colour-mixer, all my courses include a comprehensive look at mixing colours and using the supplies we so carefully chose. Mixing your colours from basic supplies will help you paint more, buy less, and waste less!

TECHNIQUES
I went through four years of art school and not once did anyone teach me HOW to paint.
My courses all include detailed explanations of brush techniques, loading your brush with paint, and laying down paint onto your substrate. This will create a basis for you to find your favourite ways of working and creating artwork unique to you.
